Graduation Ceremony for PMD “Mini-MBA” Group

On December 19, participants of PMD “Mini-MBA” group 2009 were awarded with their certificates. Team work and usability of the acquired skills were named among the most valuable learning outcomes of the Program.
This year the PMD program curriculum has been modified taking into account dramatic changes economy is experiencing. The renewed program is built upon the project management approach. In fact the PMD group is very much alike project team – it is interactive, cross-industries and cross-functional. Making the most of the studies in the diverse environment was the mission successfully accomplished.
Ms. Oksana Pavlenko, Deputy Sales and Marketing Director for ALUTECH Company in Ukraine stressed that team work and managing people from different backgrounds were especially useful for her. “Moreover, everything we were mastering at school was being tested at work. High applicability of the knowledge exceeded my expectations,” said Ms. Pavlenko. “Systematic knowledge is instrumental in formation of strategic approaches and in running business on day-to-day basis.”
Mr. Stanislav Matushenko, Head of Web Development Department for SEO-Studio (IT and consulting) mentioned “Studies at MIM-Kyiv transformed my vision of business and industry. It is one of the most valuable outcomes of the program”. Interactive teaching methods, creative atmosphere and a good class mix were named among the factors facilitating learning.
We are especially proud that our talented business people also have a deep feeling of compassion and responsibility. On December 19, St. Nicolas Day when children are given gifts, the graduates presented sweets and toys to one of Kyiv orphanages.
