Prof. Tykhomyrova talked at the “Open Donbass” V International Economic Forum.
More than 100 people from 19 countries visited the Forum. The event confirmed the need for effective instruments for assessment of the current economic and political situation in the country and its perspectives. Thus World Competitiveness Yearbook 2009 is a good vehicle for analysis of economy and accurate forecasting. “Moreover, the Yearbook provides great resource of the expertise which other, more successful countries acquired,” mentioned Prof. Iryna Tykhomyrova. “Competitiveness is rooted in the transparent regulatory framework, socially responsible and dynamic business, infrastructure development, domestic investments and support of medium businesses,” stressed Prof. Tykhomyrova.
The discussions at the Forum showed that effective interaction of industry, regulators and experts which are the grounds of a country’s competitiveness are becoming getting more popular both among nation scale decision makers and local key business people.→
