Innovation Centre

The Centre of Innovative Teaching Technologies of MIM-Kyiv was set up in 2002 within a joint partnership project with Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University.

The Centre has accumulated long experience of partnership projects with Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, Massachusets Technological Institute, IMD (Switzerland) and other famous educational institutions.

The main lines of Centre’s activities

  • integrating well-known computer business simulations developed by leading business schools into academic courses of MIM-Kyiv in collaboration with representatives of partner universities;
  • developing new interactive business simulations for Ukrainian companies based on computer-imitated simulation of competitive business environment;
  • developing innovative academic programs;
  • participating in international strategic management competitions for MBA university students and business schools of different countries together with teachers of participating universities;
  • providing access to important international online information sources;
  • creating teaching web-resources.

The principal task for the Centre

To provide MIM-Kyiv academic programs with modern efficient tools enabling the program participants:

  • to comprehensively employ knowledge of all courses obtained at MBA and PMD programs;
  • to try versatile strategies working as a top manager for a company, a fund or a commercial bank without any risk for business;
  • to organize interaction of participants with outside experts, professionals, representatives of Ukrainian and foreign companies;
  • to use international information sources efficiently;
  • to employ analytical methods while implementing business tasks;
  • to compare one’s own approach to solving business problems with approaches of companies’ executives from other countries-participants of MBA programs of business schools in North and South America, Europe and Asia;
  • to create an efficient team of managers, to identify strong points of each participant and the field of activity where she is the most efficient.
